    I know that the BSc is done in the standard 1:1, 2:1, 2:2, etc. and that the Masters is done on a pass, merit, distinction scale - but how is an MSci done?
    As it is a blend of the two, does it adopt the BSc style or the MSc style or something else?

    Some use the traditional undergrad standard of first, second, third class honours and others use the postgrad standard of distinction, merit and pass.
