Is anyone else having problems applying for accommodation even when using Internet Explorer? The system logs me out when I click the bar that has arrival date/time next to it, so I can't send my application. I have firmed my offer so should be able to apply...

Also which accommodation is everyone thinking of applying to?

Forgot to add, also wondering if there are any open days specifically for looking round accommodation?

I'm a third year student at Northumbria and I find that the firefox browser works best for everything related to Uni. I had some problems using internet explorer when I was applying.

As far as I am aware any open days have the option of looking round accommodation so you could come and just look at the accommodation and not do anything else.

If you have any more questions then I'm happy to answer them

Thanks, I managed to apply using Firefox!

I couldn't find any open days on the website apart from October 2014 and July 2015 which seems a bit late, but thanks again.

    still deciding,

can anyone tell me the best social places? and then the best social places with ensuite.

ideally id love an ensuite room that is really sociable, but no that isn't always the case.

Apparently Glenamara is really good for parties, but it's not ensuite, I suppose all of them will be quite social, just look for ones with lots of people like Winn Studios, because then you will always have someone to talk to

I hear Manor bank is similar to New bridge street but its better as it has the common room with a tv and a pool table for everyone. Also it has really good internet and stuff. I really hope i get into that one. I'm doing childhood studies and early years, what about you?
