While I realise that the most active members here, as well as most lurkers, are undergraduates, I was wondering whether there are people in this forum that have chosen to stay in Warwick for further study / joined the University at the postgraduate level.
I would be particularly happy to hear opinions of people who were or are enrolled in the MSc Economics and MSc Economics and International Financial Economics degrees, as well as PhD candidates in the department. What I am mostly interested in is how you would evaluate the career prospects and PhD placements of graduates with distinction in those programmes (relating to your experience and classmates you keep in touch with). In addition to that, what do you think of the environment in Warwick regarding research? Are people in departments generally easily approachable?
P.S. This relating to everyone - Me and my girlfriend are planning on visiting the campus, together with Coventry and Leamington Spa, next weekend. While doing that we might as well look at some potential neighbourhoods to live in. So could anyone give me a brief pros/cons list of living in Canley and Earlsdon opposed to Kenilworth and Leamington Spa? We are spending more or less 8-9 hours "touring", so what would your advice be on where we should go in such a limited time?
who are introverts?
