all the advertising seems so misleading. i don't want my teeth to be made artifically white.

Your teeth is supposed to be naturally white due to the outer enamel layer of the teeth being white, unless you drink a lot of wine or coffee which stains the teeth. HOwever if your teeth is yellow regardless how much you brush it im afraid that the enamel layer has been worth off and what you see is the dentine layer which is naturally yellowish.

It's because I'm awesome.

It's a shame they didn't know about that in the 1600s, it would've saved a lot of lives.

I don't doubt it :hugs:

two times a day

by the way some people need to learn to edit a post if they make a mistake rather than making a new post.. going off topic I know but I keep seeing people do it and it bugs me :p:

Reply 23

only once - i've never had problems with my teeth and my dentist never questions me so i obviously brush well enough

and i got told you shouldnt brush shortly after eating.

Reply 24

More than twice a day, usually after every time I've eaten something sugary or has the possibility of staining my teeth - like pasta sauce.

I like the feeling of clean!

Reply 25

I suppose I had better mention that I go through packets of sugar free chewing gum every day.

I dont see the point in brushing twice. I tried to do it in the morning but if i brush just after my brekky then theres no point because they are only going to get dirty again in 3 hours so i just do it at night because its a long period.

I have the same problem. Whenever I eat or drink something very high in sugar like chocolate cake or coke I brush my teeth 10mins afterwards just to try to get rid of the plague

The dentist said to me (oh btw i get taken off the dental place quite alot as i dont visit every 6 months more like every 2 years) anyway yeah if you brush your teeth straight after coke then that is bad because the coke has taken the enamel off and that sits in your mouth and would normally re-attach but if you brush your teeth straight away i.e 2 hours then you are getting rid of your enamel.

twice without fail in morning and before bed, third time if im going out to a club or something nice. Bout 3 mins per brush.. hey its what the dentist recommends.

Reply 29

In the morning, before bed and maybe a quick going over to freshen up before I go out to meet someone.

You mean it kinda weakens your teeth for 2 hours after you drink coke? Is this the case for food as well?

twice a day

Reply 33

I try to brush them twice a day as I have sensitive teeth. On busy days I forget and slip to once.

Reply 34

ewww why is there an "I don't" option! Do some people seriously not brush their teeth? yuk! Anyways I brush mine twice a day during school days and thrice a day during holidays ( I can brush them after lunch). If I am in school, I'd eat a wigelys chewing gum after lunch (the ones that taste like toothpaste).

Reply 35

Once/twice depends how tired I am at night

Reply 36

same, I never forget to in the mornings like some people on here though!

I can't go out without brushing my teeth.

But I end up brushing mine about 4 times a day atm, but that's only because I have to take my inhaler 4 times a day and I'm phobic of getting oral thrush :p:

Reply 39

Minimum of 2 times a day, if I eat something which makes my teeth feel dirty, or have a can of diet coke or wahtever, I have to brush them again right after too.
