    Hey guys,

I'd like to know whether a French debit card can be used in Spain without any charges. Since the currency is the same and all transactions are counted as domestic, I think they can. I can't be bothered to open a Spanish account so was wondering whether I could just carry on using my French account.

    Thanks!

    Yes.

You'll only be charged if you make charges outside of Eurozone such as in the UK but Spain is fine.

I did and was largely fine. My experience is from 2011 so might have changed. Look for 4B Telebanco cash points - they don't generally charge. ServiRed and Euro 6000 used to whack a euro on top of each transaction - so look for 4B where you can.

You can use it without any restrictions. Just like rockrunride said
