I am 22 years old and will move to Salford to go university there. I dont have very much in common with most students, I don't drink, don't like parties and prefer to spend most of my spare time after classes in my room using my laptop, or hanging with one of my mate, boring I know! I feel I will not fit in and be seen as anti social. I don't mind hanging out on the weekends. I have considered renting a studio flat where I don't live with nor share my accommodation with students, and there fore not expected to take part in these typical social norms. What do you guys think. PS I plan to come home every other weekend to see my friends and family.

You can apply for small flats or halls where you only have to share with 2 other people, plus you don't HAVE to go out and drink xD Also unless you are pretty loaded/your family live really close to the uni you won't be able to go home every other weekend xD
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
