# Physics- young modulus watch

1. just completely stuck and it seems so simple, asked to find the speed on reaching the ground when a girl of mass 55kg jumps off a 3.0m wall.... pleaseeee help
2. Do you have the complete question, or is that it?

Suppose a girl of mass 55Kg jumps of a wall which is 3.0m above the ground. What is her speed on reaching the ground?
That's the question we've been given
4. I sort of tried this but it doesn't really make sense, first I found the force f using w=mg, then I found the energy using E=1/2fx, then I used ke=1/2 mv^2 and rearranged to find v
5. w=mg: 9.81 x 55= 539.55

e=1/2fx: 0.5 x 539.55 x 3= 809.325

v^2=2ke/m: 2 x 809.325/ 55= 29.43 square root (29.43)= 5.42 m/s but I might be wrong

thank you, been trying to do it for so long because the space given to answer is really small so i've been looking for a simple way. thank you very mucy!

Do you already know the answer but not the method by any chance?
