Does anyone else suffer from anxiety the morning after drinking a lot? For me, it's really intense for 5 minutes, but then it lessens, and disappears after about 40 minutes. It feels really horrible. Wondering if it's just me, and if there's any way to reduce it.

There is - don't binge drink. This is just one of its many ill-effects.

How much do you usually drink?

I get the same. Whenever I go out drinking (I don't even have to drink that much), the next morning I get quite bad anxiety for an hour or so. I never get anxiety in any other situation. It's the main reason why I don't drink, which at 22 years old is apparently quite weird.

Actually I have got it once without drinking. It was the first time I went out with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. One of the best nights of my life. I didn't sleep with her or anything like that. The morning after I had the same anxiety feeling. I guess some kind of chemical imbalance.

Yeah I get this as well though I am a very anxious person in general.

Yes. Cut the amount of alcohol you consume.

You kind of answered your own question; you know it's the alcohol that's making you feel that way, so the natural thing to do is the lesser the extent.
