I'm 19 and in my first year of uni. I took a year out after A-levels to figure out what I wanted to do but I got nowhere. I became quite depressed just sitting at home so I applied to a course that looked vaguely interesting and now I'm here. It's quite hard work and I'm starting to question why I'm even here because I don't have a lot of interest in what I'm doing. The problem is, I have no interest in doing anything else either. I'm willing to work hard in whatever I do if it will make me happy, but I don't know what I want to do. I'm just drifting along and doing my work, not really learning much because I'm not engaging, getting stressed because I'm worried that I'll regret my decision to get this degree in the future when I want to do something else. All of this makes me want to drop out but, at nearly 20 with no job experience, I don't know what else I'd do. I'm seeing a counsellor at uni tomorrow but I don't know if it will help. I don't know what to do anymore at all, advice?

See your counsellor, if he redirects you to the careers centre then so be it (usually they'll offer you CV advice)

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
