do both then...go to the family planning clinic to get the advice first, then talk it through with your gp...

You know your history don't you?
the only thing they'll really need is whether you're on any other meds, whether you have any other conditions, and whether you get migraines (with a visual aura).
Other than that its all pretty much counselling based, bar a question here and there.

Thats not true. Dependant on surgery but i've never been to one that didn't have free condoms. They may not be advertised but they nearly always do.

You mean you go into the GPs consulting room and ask for free condoms? With no other reason for seeing the GP?!

Where I live none of my firneds have ever got free condoms from their GP - perhaps it depends on where you live:frown:
