I would consider her a good friend, only now she says she likes me.

I've literally no idea what to say. She's lovely and obviously its a nice thing for someone to say, but I'm not really sure whether I want to enter into a relationship right now. I've never been in a relationship either (aged 18) so I'm not sure if its fear and uncertainty that's holding me back.

Then again, I've never really thought of her in that way, so perhaps it would be best to tell her that we should stay good friends. I don't think the fact that I sort of fancy her friend helps either.

    Advice?

If you're not feeling it, dont do it.

No need to give her some false hope.

Spend more time with her as a friend. Talk to her and get to know her.
But then, if you really fancy her friend, then just ask her out instead.

If you actually are good friends then you stand to lose nothing by giving it a go. And the best relationships are founded on solid friendships.

it would hold you back and it wouldn't last for a long time because you're both young and will drift apart as your personality changes. You wanted honesty, there you go.

Wow, you're a pussy. What kind of guy has to think about whether he wants to have sex with a girl? Stop tossing and turning, go and have sex with her ffs.
