I'm 18, and a few days ago I noticed a spot on my scrotum (no different to one you get on your face). Thus I started squeezing it really hard but it would not pop. I realised I was simultaneously squeezing a vein, which shared the same space within the skin.

Fast forward about two days and the spot has gone much bigger, like a cyst, and about 1.5 inches of the vein above the spot has dilated and is inflamed. If I try to squeeze the spot, it's inevitable that I will squeeze the vein.

I'm confident the swelling was caused by my squeezing and now I'm worried about the blood flow to my testis. Could be a blood clot?

Anyone with similar experiences have any advice - to see a doctor or wait for it to return to normal?
