    Hi,
I recently recieved a rejection after the interview at a university and i was wondering if i am allowed to challenge this decision as i feel that i was at a severe disadvantage compared to the other other candidates due to the events which occured on the day of the interview

    Please and thankyou

Really, you should have mentioned the events either at the time or immediately afterwards. If you mention them now it will just come across as you making excuses. So you can ask the uni to reconsider their decision but they may not actually change it.

You might be best to talk to your tutor and see if they will contact the uni on your behalf. This does depend what the events were, though - so it might be worth discussing this with them to see their opinion anyway.

You should contact the university and ask for feedback on your performance. They're usually happy to do this, and you may find it useful when re-applying. It's unfortunate you had a bad time on the day, but there's not much a uni will do once they've made their decision. Always worth a shot though!
