If they're not teaching you a lot at school, try self teaching yourself with a book or maybe some online course, try Duolingo.

At GCSE, there should be a vocabulary specification which tells you all of the vocab which could possibly come up in the exam. If you learn this, there is no way that you will get less than a B. In order to get an A, you will have to actually practice past papers to get a feel for how they work.

Also, make sure your controlled assessment is up to scratch.

So you basically want to pass with an A and you haven't studied nor know anything? lol!
I studied my butt off for French and ended with a B! I was expecting an A to be honest but it might have been a High B who knows
Anyways , All I got to tell you is that you should study, you ain't got no time left

    I'd prepare yourself for disappointment.
