so I called her sometime back again and no, she hadn't lost her phone. She started talking casually and in 3-4 mins of convo her 'mother' called in the middle and she had to hang up. I called he two more times after that and got no response, arggggghhhhh. It's her b'day tomorrow, so I'll maybe write a nice moving text at 12, but really, what the hell do girls want?

I don't get this, I met this girl a couple of days ago at my uni, where I do some part time work. So, we chatted for 4-5 hrs that day, I invited her to my hall for this saturday (today) for some home-made food. She took my number, my landline etc etc ad I thought it was all good. Now she hasnt called back, I txted her day before, no reply. I called her yesterday, no response and no call backs. Now usually I dont bother with such girls but she was very very good, and it seemed I had hit it off with her. I do not know what's wrong, and wonder whether I should call again, only to seem to desperate!

what the hell are you doing talking to her 4-5 hours on the first meeting dammit.

and calling her 20 times in 2 days makes it even worse.

dont send it at 12, it will look like you have spent to much time thinking about it. send it at some point during the day that way its friendly but not overly keen.
