    The way I'd see it, the most important thing is seeing what kind of opportunities this internship would give you for when you graduate. So things like pay and going to New York are good factors but probably not the most important things.

    What I'd look for is how likely you are to get offered a job at the end - that would make your life much easier later on. Also see what it tells you about the departments and roles you would be placed in, and make sure these are similar to what you want to do later on. I work in technology in a bank myself (graduated a year and a half ago) and when you rotate between different roles in the bank they do look at what kinds of areas you have been in previously.
