Your GCSE options are not particularly important, as long as they let you take the A Levels you need. Universities aren't particularly bothered by what you take at GCSE as long as you've got passes in English and Maths. Some may have higher requirements (e.g. some science courses might require BB in double science) and some universities might use your GCSE grades as a metric to take into account (e.g. number of As/A*s) but your actual subject choices generally don't matter as long as they fulfil the basic requirements.

Which GCSEs are most valuable? Good ones.
You need your core: English, Maths. Aside from those the classics (not literally the classics...) are always good: Sciences, Geog, History. Languages e.g. German, Spanish, French.
Really any of the subjects you might consider "normal school subjects". I would imagine though the grades are much more important than the actual specific subjects since you're doing so many. Strong GCSE grades shows you're able to apply yourself across a range of skill sets and have been able to for a while.

Subjects are generally easier to do well in when you enjoy them and the ones you enjoy most are the ones you will probably take to A Level anyway.

Universities pretty much don't care about which GCSEs you picked. My advice is: pick subjects you enjoy or think you will enjoy and ones you think you might want to do at A level. The most important thing is not picking subjects you hate because you think they might look good on a CV or uni application because you probably won't do that well in them anyway.
Have you ever experienced racism/sexism at uni?
