    You cut out every word in the book. Then by simple trial and error, attempt to reconstruct every sentence in the book, as if you were completing a jigsaw puzzle.

    Repeat until you know where each word of each sentence is in the book.

    Yes... but unless you literally had no choice but to memorise the entire book word-for-word or you're a savant, I honestly can't see how there can't be a more efficient way of revising...
