What is the shortest socially acceptable time for someone to come out of a 1 year relationship and go into a new relationship?
basically i dont want to look like a guy who just doesnt care...
but i'm over the breakup already even though it's been about 2 weeks and i really like this girl and i'm pretty sure she likes me back so... yeah.

Five weeks, four days, 11 hours, and 12 minutes.
From then on you're good to go!

Minus 1 year. Which basically means that you could (should) have been in multiple relationships running alongside one another, from the very start. You don't need to restrict yourself. No matter who you're with, you can always be with someone else, whether it's at the same time or not.
