I'm sure it's possible! Although it should stop after a while

Have you ever been back to visit France since you've been here? Perhaps going back to visit would help. How often do you speak to your friend?

hmmmm... You said you don't really have any friends in England... Is there any real reason for this? I'm sure there's someone out there who you can make friends with!

Hate's a very strong word... Please say it's not musical tastes that they dislike you for? It would annoy me if it is...!

But then surely all the people that don't fit in can get together and become friends? How long have you got to stay there for now, and is it not possible to transfer elsewhere or something?

I think that a main reason for you being depressed is that you don't feel as if you belong where you are now, that's the best I can do at the moment I'm afraid. I suggest you try to socialise outside of school, so at least you can talk to someone other than your friend in France, who is obviously not a good enough friend at the moment, (through no fault of their own or yours, but because you live so far apart) as you don't feel like telling them how you feel. That's just my opinion anyway, I don't know all the details, so I can't really help too much, but I'm trying my best!

which year are you in? consider, if you're in the 6th form, you've only got maximum of 12 months left and then you can escape and find people who you'll get on with better

2 weeks isn't a long time! Try to take it day by day, and keep yourself occupied with something to take yor mind off things! Normally works for me.

2 weeks left, just try to remember that and then after that u can get away from it all. you dont want to be friends with narrowminded people anyway - stay positive, dont let other people's shortcomings get you down

Wow, you sound like the french kid we have at our school. Everyone laughs at him and he is so weird and funny, but he is from romania origionally(sp) I think he once said he wanted to jump out the window, that was a funny day.

When I'm feeling depressed, I identify the problem, then do something about it. If you're feeling depressed because you've moved to England, consider going somewhere where you'll be happy, or change the contents of your life so it makes you happier. Maybe you're homesick, in which case get some people from home to come visit you if possible.
