let me paint the pic... should I or not...

Right let me make this as simple as possible. I was in a bar with a mate and we were watching this girl dancing who was good looking. And I said "she's nice" to my mate. Then the guy standing next to me said "haha I live with her". He said why don't you go over and say hi to her? but I didn't. I didn't ask for it but he gave me her number, I was too drunk to remember why he did.

So should I text her even though she doesn't know who I am or would that be to weird? should I ask her if she's on msn? Or should I just leave it, she was nice though :s

random thread over, this was Friday night by the way.

 Some random guy said he lived with that girl, yet he gave you her number, very strange.

He may have been a flatmate or something. And NO I WOULD NOT text her, I've had friends give my number out to strangers before and I was furious. That was very disrespectful of him and I doubt any girl would look kindly on complete randomers ringing them to "meet up" or what have you.

I had some wierdo texting me for months pretending to be various friends and it really p*ssed me off.

You should only have her number if she gave it to you.

don't text her, she'll get creeped out.
wait for a while incase you see her there again, and then make the move to go and talk to her.

Good rant

Na don't think I will text her, it'll be way too weird. I will if I see her out again and chat to her.

Dude, sounds like a Scott Mills flirt divert coming up! Best thing to do is to go over and talk to her next time you see her. :tsr2:

If you texted her what would you say?
"Hi you dont know me but i was watching you dancing in a club the other night and your flatmate gave me your number so i thought id text you, you dont know me or know what i look like by the way, but i thought id say hey!"
If i got a text like that id get a bit creeped out, you should have gone and spoke to her when you saw her!

Mind you, what would you have said to her that night if you did go up to her?

I would never give a random guy one of my flatmates numbers!
