What is punctuation why dont you use it you see it makes things easier to read when no punctuation is used things become non-sensical.

Or should I say:

What is punctuation? Why dont you use it? You see it makes things easier to read, when no punctuation is used things become non-sensical.

Give him a break. He's from Norwich. I bet he can drive a tractor better than you.

Class is how a particular person is perceived by his/her peers. Problem solved.

I'd argue that class is pretty much self-determined, by how you perceive your role in society.

Class is something you are born with. Take me, for example, I have it up the ying-yang. Hunty over there, however, is so devoid of class that he's practically a no-brow.

How are you a snob? One of my lecturers said you could categorise class by your profession rather than by how much you earn or other assets. I used to think the latter, but I'm not so sure now. Class, in my opinion, doesn't matter. Who knows I do :P

Just one question. Is the comma after "used" absolutely necessary?

How can you class yourself as a certain class though? You cannot.

I didn't mean that you're necessarily conscious of your own true class, just that your perception of your role in society is what determines your class. Your own perception and that of others may differ, but class is essentially a state of mind.

Can't offer anything in support, just an opinion.

Class is the most useful way of dividing the rich and intelligent from the great unwashed masses!

A semi-colon there would look sexy.

Commas aren't an exact science; it depends how you say your sentences; each pause is punctuation mark. Semicolons are indeed sexy .

I beg to differ, a semicolon there would be completely out of place. But there should be one, as follows:

"What is punctuation? Why don't you use it? You see, it makes things easier to read; when no punctuation is used things become nonsensical."

You can't seriously propose that abysmal comma usage in the first sentence. It must either be an "and" or two sentences. backatcha
