    Hey Everyone

My name is Sayan S. Das. I am trained lawyer from India with a specialisation in Environmental Law. Currently I am studying Creative Writing at the University of Oxford.

I recently made it to the Hertie School of Governance to study Public Policy and the Diplomatic Academy in Vienna to study International Studies. I have to make a decision and any information will help. While finance is important, it will not make or break the final decision.

Eventually I hope to work in UNEP in the field of water conservation either in Europe or in Africa.

    Please advice.

i recommend the DA if you're interested in a UN career. it has strong ties to the diplomatic and int'l organization (UN, OSCE, etc.) community.

Thank you for taking out time to reply. I appreciate it deeply. I have a follow up question. I have secured a place in the Maxwell School of Public Affairs in Syracuse University. Now what would you suggest I choose. Thanks

I would suggest you do your own research and post your conclusions here. All of the schools have detailed information on their curriculum as well as statistics on the types of internships/jobs that graduates have gotten upon completion of their degree.

Asking "I want to work for the UN, which school should I go to?" is a bit like asking "I like fruit. Should I eat apples or bananas?"

All three of the schools mentioned can set you up for a career in your IO of choice. Find the one that best suits your individual preferences and circumstances.
