Anyone had a bad interview but still got an offer?

I had an interview for Japanese Studies yesterday and, in my opinion at least, it went badly. So I was wondering if anyone has previously had a bad interview (for any course, not just Japanese) but still got an offer?

It's far from unheard of - even if you think it went badly, they may have a different take.

It's also worth noting that MFLs are rarely oversubscribed, which will count in your favour.

I had a very bad interview for a computer science secondary school PGCE. It went badly and I was nearly in tears. I was still offered the placement at University of Reading.
