    There's no timescale. They could reply instantly, or could take a long time. You'll just have to wait. They might have asked because they're dealing with your application now, or they might just ask everyone and not actually be looking at your application yet. So it could be a good sign or could just be standard.

    The recommended date for offers/rejections from universities is 31st March.

    The ABSOLUTE deadline for unis to get back to you is early May.

    If you're concerned it may be worth ringing the uni you sent proof to to make sure everything went through ok and that they're happy with what you sent.

    Many Unis will not make any offers until AFTER the Jan deadline - and will continue to make offers right up to their March deadline.

    As suggested above, phone up and check they get the stuff you sent them. THen all you can do is be patient and wait.
