I dropped out of uni in October after realising the course wasn't for me.
I payed my bills for the halls for the month I stayed and the month after as it states I need to do in the contract.
However I got a bill in the post saying i owe the £1000 odd pounds for tuition fees. However I contacted SAAS letting them know I had left and they payed me a total of £46 for the time I was there and I presumed they would have payed my bill as higher education is free in Scotland.
So do I contact SAAS and ask about their "Plus One" rule (the new "false start" you get 5 years worth of finance) and ask why I'm being left with the bill. Since I applied to saas should I not be covered for this even though I dropped out.
Does anyone know of anyone who has experienced something like this?
What should I do?
