Extreme Ironing!

Well I have decided that whatever University that I go to I will start a society for extreme ironing. Now some of you may be wondering what extreme ironing is, so I have provided the following link to explain it:

My first choice Uni is Bath and I am dead set on creating this society if I am accepted. Would anyone be interested in joining?

It seems Southampton University has a society already and it's the only reason I want to apply there. http://www.sueis.co.uk/

If we can get an extreme ironing society at Bath then there is nothing it would not offer.

hahaa! That's the funniest thing i've heard. When i saw the title to this topic I was curious.....I can't believe people actually do that. Are you being serious? I don't particularly like ironing...in the comfort of my home so on top of a cliff....is very unlikely. Although it would be quite funny to watch other people do it.

you will be lucky, the SU sucks, they only have 85 places for societires, they are fall and already have another 10+ on the waiting list.

dandan, you are forgetting that Extreme ironing is not a society, it is an extreme sport that "combines the thrills of an extreme outdoor activity with the satisfaction of a well pressed shirt." And if the sports places are full...... who needs the uni! Facebook rules the world now! lol

it can EASILY be a sports soc, but is well annoying they cant have any more societies, cos some atm dont even do anything (eg:im a member of cocksoc and they havent met once yet!)

Oh very interesting thing.but it seems very dangerous and if I fall off a cliff when I enjoy watching the clothes ironed well by me,
the god will welcome me with firstly saying "Don't you want to iron clothes for me?I have found that you are good at it."

Good questions. If you want to be truely extreme i suppose naked. Though you may be at risk of getting arrested... lol, or if you drop the iron, well, use you imagination.
