Through secondary school and y12 i had a poor attitude and little motivation for me to do well; I behaved poorly and this reflected on my grades. However, over summer and in recent months i have really got my act together and have been focusing and studying hard. I got CCUU for my AS in Eco, Geog, Chem and Physics. Consequently, i am predicted rubbish grades and now doing AS ICT and Psychology along side Eco and Geog A2. I overcame my insecurity and embraced my passion for politics and have found I wish to study this at uni instead of a foundation year of Engineering. In my mocks last week i received A,A,A,B and hope i can replicate something similar in summer. Theoretically if i did get grades such as the ones above, would any decent uni e.g top 15 on the guardians list for Politics or any Russell group uni would accept me to do something like Politics/Economics (with Arabic preferably)? I know time will tell however i am very curious to know if i stand a chance or not.

Just do another year if you have to, not many top institutions will let you in for Econ without A-Level Maths, especially when you applied for engineering.
