So since coming to uni I have found myself with a very diverse group of friends, all different shape and sizes , different styles and personalities and what not.
One thing I have found more difficult is borrowing clothes with us all being so different , and let's be honest not a huge amount of people can afford new clothes every month!
So an idea I've had is sort of a website where you can swap for good , sell or borrow clothes , shoes , accessories ect.

you would pay a monthly subscription charge , of which can not be defined but I am hoping it would be something like £6. This would allow you to borrow upto three prices of clothing for the period of up to one month , and 2 accessories/shoes.

It would cover your postage fees and certain wear and tear such as a missing button or thread coming loose ect , however one would be liable to pay substantial damage.

I kind of wanted some feedback on this to see what people though and if they would even think they would use a website such as this ?

    Thank you

There have been websites that did this for designer clothes, and they didn't do too well - so just "normal" clothes might not be too popular. Why would someone want to pay to borrow what they can easily buy from Primark?

You're also vastly underestimating postage charges. Until you get a lot of users you'd really be looking at Royal Mail, and they charge a minimum of £2.80 for small parcels - heavy or bulky items will cost more. So £6 would get you 2 items, if you're lucky. And that's assuming people post to each other; if everyone has to post to a central location for sorting (to keep personal details private) it would be twice as much. That's also just a basic service, and wouldn't prove it was posted/delivered - so what if things get lost, or people are dishonest?
