    are these classed as the same so if i did an IGSCE would it count as a GCSE in same way as a GCSE does.

    IGCSE - Traditional O-Level
    GCSE - Modern and a combine of O-level and CSC, easier then IGCSE apart from Language.

    It's all got a bit messy for school league tables but you individual students they are equivalent.

    Thanks for the responses, I am waiting for an email from the Uni whether they will accept IGCSE alongside a Access Course for the course I want to do.
