does anyone else find they have acquaintances/friends/family who resent you for something that really shouldn't be your fault?it might sound boastful/bragging or whatever, but it upsets me to know that some of my closest friends and my family actually resent me and my parents for being hardworking successful people (well my dad moreso than me). i feel like i have to tiptoe around people sometimes, like when i got my car for example, i was naturally overjoyed, but some ppl accused me of rubbing it in their faces, even though i full well didn't- funnily enough these are the people who now beg me for lifts

disregard what the person said about the collar

deep down i don't think they mean it and a lot of people are getting stressed up at my college about forthcoming exams etc ( has it happened recently? )
which causes them to act in bizarre ways!

i only have a few good friends at college anyway

My point was that you should never be ashamed or apologetic for what you have.
