Basically I'm studying German and French at uni and I am having to consider leaving. The reason being that I genuinely cannot afford it. I get the smallest amount of Student Loan and I know that normally means parents can help them out but its just not the case. When I say I cannot afford it, I mean I simply don't know how I'm going to pay my rent that I'm already indebted to.

Ideally I would want to carry on with languages but I don't know how I can without being at university. If anyone knows of anyway that I could do this I would be so grateful.

Hiya, I've edited the title of the thread to make it a bit more descriptive - hopefully more people will visit the thread now! :woo:

Have you considered moving back in with your parents and studying locally? Have you looked at a part time job?

I think that those two questions need answers so that we can get the ball rolling on suggestions.

To commute it would cost me just less than £400 per month which is kinda backwards haha.

A job. Yeah I have definitely considered it, but the amount of money I would need to make up just to break even is ridiculous.

What about the OU? If I remember rightly, you can transfer credits from previous study to count towards the degree.
