Big, especially in maths. GCSE maths was nothing if you were moderately skilled, you will HAVE to work hard for maths a level regardless of your ability. Stressful? Depends on how much work you put in, if you start early and work hard then there's no reason for it to be stressful. Be prepared to work VERY hard for your grades at A level and as long as you do, you'll be fine.

A Level maths isn't that hard to be honest, the jump there is a little overhyped. If you aren't naturally good at maths, you will need to put the work in though.
