I'm struggling with what to chose for my last A-level option. I want to study English at Cambridge and then become a lawyer but I don't know what to do about my last option. So far I want to do
    English Lit, History and R.S.
    THEN it's a choice between:
Philosophy, a subject I love and really enjoy but is only taught at the local boys school which is notorious for its very independent style of learning,
Biology which I am not so enthusiastic about but is taught at my school and is know for its very supportive staff.
    Thanks a lot

Personally, I'd go with Biology because Philosophy and RS have quite a bit of overlap I think. Also, doing biology gives you a bit more variety - shows you can work in a range of environments and situations. It's also looked on more favourably by universities because it's a facilitating subject.
Although, if you enjoy philosophy more then maybe you should go for that. And it would probably be more applicable to a career as a lawyer or a degree in English than biology would be.
