Basically I have been suffering from a severe skin reaction for a few days now. I made myself go into uni yesterday as I had an important practical, and the reaction got a lot worse overnight. I went to see the doctor in A&E and he managed to get me an emergency dermatologist appointment for Thursday, unfortunately this clashes with another important practical of mine.

The practical only counts like 1% towards the exam, and my first year in this degree doesn't count but every mark could help me pass and these are like free marks. If I don't go to my dermatologists appointment, then my reaction is slowly getting worse and I may end up missing more uni days due to how bad it is, and I'm lucky that I got this appointment in the first place, if I don't go to this appointment, I'm stuck waiting for another 3 months, by which time this reaction will probably become VERY severe. I'm in such a dilemma I don't know what to do, practical vs dermatologists appointment.

Tell your uni tutor? Go to the appointment. But explain to your uni why you didn't go to the practical. Don't put yourself in a situation where in the future they can say to you "you never told us". If you tell them, then they have to let you go as it's your health, but at least they know what's happening.
