Should I move?

I'm having a few problems in my flat, with one guy in particular. Thing is, when he's saying something about me, he seems to be able to pressure the others into doing it (he's also managed to pressure the girls into smoking weed). He's taking my stuff, and has even threatened me on a few occasions. Despite how politely I ask him not to, or at least to tell me next time he sees me, my stuff is always being taken and/or used from the kitchen without my knowledge and consent, and his ****ty RnB music is playing into all hours of the night, whether he's in his room or not.

Most of the time for me, however, seems to be spent in another block of the halls, with my friend and his flatmates, who all seem to be really genuinely nice people, and they're all trying to encourage me to move over to their flat (2 rooms are empty). Problem is, it's going to cost me £30, and the room I'd be moving into is slightly smaller but for the same rent. I also dont want to have to put my friendship with the guy over there into jeopardy - we spend loads of time hanging out, but with a room in another flat, at least we can get some time away if we need it. Also, I'm slightly hesistant to move just because I dont want to let the bastard think he's won.

Any suggestions?

I'd be tempted to not let pride get the way of moving...the people in your other flat seeem far nicer!

Hell I wouldn't budge.

Remove things from the kitchen and keep them in your room.

I don't think he's trying to win anything, he just sounds like a dick! Just lock all your things away for the time being, I know it's a bit crap to do that seeing as you're paying to live there, the only other option is to kick his face in and send him on a paranoid whitey! lol

*Don't condone violence* - did I spell that right?
