How different is AS Latin to the GCSE as I'm considering taking it as my 4th AS? (it would either be this or Spanish)

Personally I'd take Spanish, definitely more useful if you're not planning to go for Classics or something...

I'm looking to do PPE and my other A levels would be Maths, Economics and Politics if you were wondering

I see. Well I would still do Spanish, I think that you would benefit knowing a foreign language in many jobs that you can do after PPE. It is also quite a respected A Level I think

Yeah that's a good point but I think if I really wanted to I could learn the language myself as I know the basic grammar from my GCSE, and I think Latin is considered to be more respected from what I've heard

The decision is up to you but unless you're planning to use Latin as a base for learning Spanish, Italian, French, Romanian etc. later in your life, and you probably won't have time for all that, you will use Latin for virtually nothing... And to learn a useful language you might need to pay a lot for courses and travelling later in your life. Now you have the chance to learn a language as a part of your education and I'd use this chance
