Desi/Indian girls

I'm a white guy, but I love Desi/Indian girls and at school always get along so well with my desi friends. There's an indian girl I really like but her parents are really strict.. I'd love to go out with her but I don't see it happening because of her parents...
I don't have any interest in most white girls.. I don't know why, but I click with desi girls much better.

Anyone, especially indian girls, would like to offer some much appreciated advice? Thank you

i'm not indian, i'm asian, but yeah.
most asian parents will be strict about it, but it depends if you wanna be in a relationship where the family are involved, because many girls won't want their parents involved in the slightest.
i dunno what advice i should give. don't ask them daft questions lol? don't make it as if they should go out with you, many 'desi' girls prefer 'desi' guys..

if you like her , just tell her , if she likes you too then itlle all be good...i used to go out with this indian girl .she just didnt tell her parents about it, theres nothing wrong with it. but take it slow and dont pressure her

in my experience most indian girls are pretty flexible about rebelling against their parents in this sort of situation. as long as you don't experience to go round the folks house for sunday lunch :p:

I'm black (female) and I like Indian boys, but I'm always worried to let them know because I keep thinking that they'd only go out with indian girls due to that whole family thing.

to be honest, she probably won't tell them. most of the asian girls i know keep thier relationships hidden from their families. it depends on the individual though and the relationship she has with her family. i personally wouldn't have a problem telling my parents as they aren't strict about this sort of thing. be careful though, getting into a secret relationship is hard, make sure you don't ever pressure her into telling people and let her make the decisions regarding her family. take it slowly, i'm pretty sure you'll be fine. good luck!

I am Indian, and i wouldn't tell my parents if i was dating:wink:

my asian girl-mates usually never tell there parents about who they are dating. I reckon if I was asian (I'm a guy) I would simply tell them and if they told me I couldn't see that person I'd simply try my hardest to see them instead of lying about everything.

EDIT: Of course its different for guys and girls.

This is a colloquial name for people of South Asian descent, particularly those of Indian and Pakistani descent, to self describe each other or their community. The term is derogatory outside of the South Asian community.

Google ftw!

To be honest (I'm Asian) I wouldn't want to be in a relationship hidden from my parents. Doesn't bode well for the future.
