VW Polo 9N, 9N3.........VW Golf mark 5.......alternatives are Skoda Fabia and Seat Ibiza for the Polo, Seat Leon for the Golf.
Also consider the Ford Fiesta and Ford Focus, cheaper, although generally more enjoyable drive and reliability is decent and low cost to fix.
Toyota Yaris....possibly the Corolla. Other weird ones would be the Honda Jazz and Civic........maybe you'd like the Audi A2.

But if its for city driving, then the Polo, Fabia, Fiesta and Yaris are very well suited and have good MPG.
Why did you write 10? looool thats incredibly low.

Do try to whittle them down, obviously their large counterparts e,g, Golf over a Polo for example would be larger, have larger engines and usually offers better extras.

Awesome thanks! And I think I prefer a golf over a polo from the cars that I've checked out. Didn't actually check out any fords but fiesta and focus sounds good
I honestly have no idea why I wrote 10

    Anyway thanks for the advice
