    Hi,

im in currently studying at Salford university and I'm fairly sure I want to leave in the summer after my first year.

i was wondering when I'd need to tell the university by and what I'd need to do? Also of I'd need to pay back any bursaries

    Thanks for any help

It depends on the terms of your bursary - they may have terms and conditions that say they must be paid back if you leave. But not all will say that.

You can tell the uni at any time you choose. The later you leave it, the more likely you'll have applied for student finance and accommodation for next year, so you get more thinks to cancel, but there's no set deadline. You need to speak to your tutor or read your student handbook, because withdrawal policies will vary by uni.
