Fell backwards....

Right, not sure if this is a common thing or whatever, but me and my mates at school recently, have been 'tripping' each other up by randomly, completely random times whilst playing football at school on hard tarmac tennis courts and tripping each other up but it is a strange method we use.

Hard to explain, may not get it first time with me explaining it in words, but when I say, trip its more of a fall we create for someone, backwards.

Basicly, my mates will randomly target one of the others playing football and they create the fall between two of them.
One of them will kneel down, on all fours behind the target to trip up and then the other one will face the target straight on and suddenly push them backwards and they fall back over the person crouching down behind them.

It is quite amusing, if it succeeds, and today, the b*****s did it to me lol!

I didn't mind, just a laugh but they got me quite badly because I fell right backwards nearly knocking my head on the tarmac tennis courts :frown:
Worse than that, as I began to stand up afterwards, I could hardly stand because had a big pain in the left of my, it seems pelvis or high up above my leg, above my bum (lol) and it is where I fell badly on one area.

There is no bruise, but it hurts to stand or sit suddenly and was just wondering if should do anything about it/what I can do to stop the pain?

Stop making each other fall over? Wait it out for a while, you probably just strained something, it should get better in time.

that is extremely stupid.

probably bruised tail bone - hurts like a mother****er and takes ages to go away. be thankful you didn't bang your head and really hurt yourself.

I know its stupid, I am just playing along with a bit of fun and banter between them only for a laugh, I havn't actually done it myself to any of them so it doesn't serve me right in the slightest  :p:

People used to do that at my school. In year 8.

Firstly, may I recommend growing up. Secondly, take some ibuprofen.

Lil story for you, lads at my school were doing that sort of thing, but with the nets in the tennis courts, one fell back hit his head on the tarmac. Then had to be airlifted to hospital, week later he died from head injuries.

Maybe you should tell them that story

Anonymous,

I'm really sorry to hear that, puts me to shame completely. :frown:

Bearing in mind our tennis courts don't have the nets any more, that wouldn't be a possibility but we could always give someone a head injury from doing this.

As I maintain, I have only been a victim in this so please don't 'have a go' because I just have some silly immature friends at times just the way it goes, I been the only one thats got hurt by the look of it, they're getting bored of it now, hopefully anyway.

Thank you for the suggestions for the pain relief is coming back, dreading going to bed soon :frown:

We used to do that in... year 9? then we did it once to this guy... i was crouched behind.. and the fat *grumbles* sat on on me... as opposed to falling over commically. Needless to say, i refused to play anymore :frown:

I bruised my tailbone y'day, tripped on the power cable on my laptop while carrying it down the stairs and landed on my arse. Dropped my laptop too but that's ok, it still works.

My arse hurts like anything though.

I remember that game. I thought it was quite fun

But yah sounds like a deep bruise or that you've wrenched a muscle or something. Don't do any high impact sports for a week or so. Take some painkillers and maybe use some muscle rub. Also try doing stretches for the area out gently to see if you can locate the exact problem.
