# Quantum - Infinite potential well with 2 steps watch

I was wondering if someone could help me on how to approach this question.

I have a potential well with :

V = 0, from 0 to a
V = Vo from a to 2a
and V = infinity else.

A value is given for the energy and Vo.

The question is what is the probability of finding the particle between 0 to a?

Are you aware of how to use the wave function, and integration to find probabilities?

I am, so would I sum the probability densities for the two regions in order to normalise?

Or does it not work like that?

Ignore what I said above. Do you know how to find the wave function for either side of the box? Using the idea of energy and potential values?
