    Hi

I am currently considering which uni would be the "best" place for EEE. I know all three are top unis in UK and from the uni ranking the 3 all at the top 10 places for EEE. But my tutor told me that since there are loads uni ranking online and none of them using the same calculation for their statistics, it becomes hard to judge whether A is better than B or not. And she also said I didn't need to too worry about the EEE ranking as for those top unis (except IC and Cam), they are only distinguished because of 1 d.p.

I have looked through almost all the threads in studentroom that asking about EEE comparison between IC, Man, Bristol, Southampton, UCL.... and I realize that before 2010 or something like that, people did not mention UCL on EEE but after a certain point, it seems that UCL was pumping out and became one of the best unis in EEE. But some people did say that engineering is not a strength in UCL and you can only find old facilities in their engineering department. Is there any one who currently doing EEE in UCL can tell me the true?

In addition, I am also thinking of the uni reputation in my country, since it has become harder and harder to stay in UK for working after graduating. And if you are from a more well known uni, this may help you get a greater chance getting a job. In China, I would say after Oxbrige and IC, Manchester would be the most well known uni for most people and companies (general). UCL maybe behind because at least it is "London". Finally I wouldn't expect too many people in China will know where Bristol is. Or maybe I do not need to think too far away now, just pick one that I want?

Waiting for any help and advice! ::::::::::::))))))))))))))))))))
