"ski." Of course, you do get all your non-Cambridge friends asking why all your friends are Nazis.

ASNAC is a bit of a problem, too. Someone introduced themselves as an ASNAC during fresher's fortnight, and laughed at me when I said "but you don't sound Australian". Must happen a lot.

I can't wait to be able to introduce myself as an Asnac! Sad, isn't it
Something tells me we'll get quite a few "bless you"s.

That's odd. How did I get my post in before you while quoting you?

You clearly have the magical ability to predict future posts and thus reply to them before they appear! Nah, I deleted and then reposted because the grinning face icon didn't show up first time round.

Darn. For a second I thought I'd finally developed a talent that would make Marvel interested.

    Ski
That makes about as much sense as the pronounciation of Magdalen I guess.

So do you study Natsigh, but the people who do that are called Natskis?

EDIT: That's basically exactly what it says above.

Nah, its natski all the way - one of those cambridge things that gets blank looks from the rest of the human race (along with mathmo's and buttery's)

It's actually the impact of the 90's

It used be Nat. Sci. (Sigh) as an abbr. for Natural Sciences, but then along with Normski and Adamski etc... came the 'ski' idea, and hence it's now term Nat Sci (Skee), but really for the poor beggers on the NST it's quite creative. Tee hee

Isn't 'Bop' an Oxford word? The Cambridge word is usually 'Ent' (or 'Pav' if you're at Churchill)
