MSc Petroleum Engineering HW/Aberdeen

Hello! Every1! I am an International student and willing to study msc petroleum engg. I have got a conditional offer from Uni of Aberdeen in MSc Petroleum engg program. but i searched over the net and found they have not yet been accredited by any engg. related body. I am still waiting for an offer from HW;if possible. Does any1 studying or who has already studied in the program able to advice me that how imp. is accrediation for new graduates?n which uni is better for the msc pet engg. ? thanks

I think it is better to apply only to those programs that have been accredited. At least then you would know that what you are getting into has met the standards set out by the industry in terms of academic professionalism.
I'm in the same boat as you are. But having said that, Even the uni of Oxford doesn't have an accreditation for its computing courses for recent intakes..??!
