You're 3 times over the limit. Phone NHS helpline and ask for advice.

How can you 'accidentally' take 6 paracetamol tablets in less than 4 hours? That's more than one an hour!

Reply 4

I'd be really careful in future!

Reply 5

Poke your throat from the inside so you throw the medicine back out.

Ah you'll be fine, I know someone who tried to overdose on about 16 paracetemols and merely had a bad tummy ache after it. But err yeah, be more careful in future! :p:

Reply 7

How on earth can that be accidental?

Reply 8

I think going from teh chart that i need to take 22 paracetamol tablets before the level in my blood will reach that where it needs treating. Ring NHS direct anyway.

According to standard guidelines, you've taken more than the recommended dose, but I wouldn't say enough to do serious harm (unless you have impaired liver function for some other reason but I doubt it) as a one-off. Throwing up now probably won't help if you've taken them over a period of time. And that in itself has dangers, so I'd advise against it. Drink plenty of water and don't take any more for a reasonable length of time.
