Hi

Im doing a module called 'Principles of Finance' at uni.
Its basically about investments, assets (risky/risk free), portfolios, securities etc.

Im finding it quite tricky, and the text book the uni recommends is like 500 pages long, and difficult to understand.
Ive tried looking for other simpler books but havnt had any lucky.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a slightly simpler book or website which could explain some of the complicated concepts of topics in the module more simply, kind of like a "dummies guide" where certian things are explained, simple definitions given to give me foundations before i attempt to read my monster text book properly.

Many Thanks..
