Got her number--NOW WHAT????????

k i met this girl yesterday, i got her number had a long conversation with her! but seriously do not know what to do next! im thinking maybe im running out of things to say well i always try and make her laugh and also compliment her but now should i ask her out or should i talk to her normally and add a bit of flirting or should keep my distance and give her time to think coz i have spoken to her a lot !

I would text rather than phone. If I guy I'd just met phoned me I'd panic and probably wouldn't answer. I'd be too shy to talk and I hate the awkward silences.

I don't know when you should though.

Don't ask her out yet. If you asked for her number, she probably already knows you are interested...but you need to build up some type of relationship with her before you ask her out. One conversaton probably isn't going to make her like you enough to agree to date you, so just call her sometime to talk or ask her to meet you somewhere...spend some time with her...keep up the flirting...if she seems receptive, seems to want to hang out with you...flirts back....THEN you should think about asking her out.

About being afraid of running out of things to say....why would you think a relationship would work if a few consecutive conversations can't? If you find that you can't hold a conversation with her, I would seriously advise you against trying to have a relationship, because..well...it just doesn't seem like that type of relationship would be enjoyable. Luckily, I've found that with those I click with in the right way, we tend to find things to talk about much of the time, and silences aren't awkward :smile:

P.S. Texting someone is seriously a bad way to talk to someone. If you are really that shy, at least get on a computer messenger, where replys are instant and don't cost money per message. I myself don't much like talking on the phone, but that's why I keep most of my conversations either in person on online

Welll we did click instantly talked to her fr about 2 hours and time flew!! its jus sometimes i have the JD (from scrubs) moment where i really want to further the relationship but get stuck! well ill talk to her tomorrow then lets see what happens! and hey this girl is way too beautiful for me to let her slip away!

Well we met up on friday! Watched a movie(her m8s were there but they were far away) so it went well we held hands and hugged and stuff.. so im pretty sure were goin out with each other!! coz weve been textin each otha more and at the gf/bf flirting stage!
