I think you can, but cant you stick them in the grill of the micro?
You can eat them uncooked, but they are really dry, and texturally quite unpleasant. You can microwave them

You can try.

Better microwaved or fried with a small knob of butter.

ROFL Vlad.

To the OP - You really ARE a worried mess, arent you?. No idea about the crumpets though :frown:.
Uncooked crumpets, yuck!

Why not just put them in the toaster for three minutes. I'm not very keen on crumpets but cold crumpets would be treacherous!
Reply 9
i dont think they would do you any harm, but they taste nicer warm
I thought they had egg in them. And generally uncooked egg=bad

Um... crumpets, when you buy them, are already cooked. If they were uncooked, they would be dough...

Lol why would you even thing they are raw in the packet? Its like asking is it safe to eat untoasted bread :O

Nup, many crumpets don't have egg or milk in them. I only know this because I'm a vegan and I'm constantly checking labels.

Im starving, I have no way to heat them up, will I die?

I have eaten them untoasted in desperation before... and I'm still alive(ish).

It wasn't particularly enjoyable, but there was nothing else left in the house.

Mmm crumpets.

Toasted crumpets with loads of butter....mmmmmmm..........

I'd say they'd taste better heated up...

Large knobs are better.

I would suggest brushing them with either water or butter both sides and microwave for one min each side so as to keep the middle moist and slightly crust the outer.. or simply toast them in a toaster.. either way add more butter ( not margerine but real butter to taste) post cooking for delicious after drink food.. x
