GDL and Scottish Degrees

I have a few questions about the GDL that I was hoping somebody who has already completed it could help me with. I'm a Scottish LLB student predicted to graduate in May with a 1st. I'm scheduled to start the GDL in September studying minimum 2, maximum 3 of the subjects towards the GDL due to exemptions. (Equity, Land and perhaps Criminal)
I was hoping that somebody could give me an indication of how many hours per week/ how much work is needed to complete only these modules. I'm planning on doing a Masters by Research and need to consider whether the GDL will be overly time-consuming.
